Our Ministries
Communication
The Communications Ministry at ICC Imara reaches the congregation and our community through media to inspire, inform, and invite participation in the life, mission, and purposes of the Church through management of the Online Church, social networks, public relations, and other special
projects publicity campaigns.
Counselling
Our counseling ministry facilitates counseling services for individuals, couples and families, group counseling, basic counseling training and psychosocial education.
Family
The Family ministry at ICC Imara exists to disciple individuals and families in the Word of God. The ministry aims at producing individuals and relationships that glorify God in all aspects. Under this ministry, we facilitate Premarital training, Weddings, Marriage blessing (solemnization), Parenting classes, Marriage Enrichment Groups (MEGs) & Couples’ events.
iConnect
Life is not meant to be lived alone; we were created to experience life with other people; it is to this end that our iConnect ministry fosters authentic relationships at ICC Imara. Through this ministry, we connect with rst time visitors and facilitate pastoral care visits, to all congregants. The ministry also caters for special interest groups including Men’s ministry – iMen, Ladies Ministry – iLM, and Young Adults 25 – 35yrs (Demystify). The ministry also ensures members are connected in small groups which are either virtual, geographical, special interest, gender or age based. No matter where you are
in life, there’s a group for you, and you should never walk alone.
NextGen & iRopes
Next Gen is the name of our Children’s Ministry at ICC Imara. It caters for children between the ages of 1 to 12 years. We are passionate about children and our vision for this ministry is to EXPLORE the uniqueness of each child, NURTURE what God has placed in them & RELEASE each child to serve God.
At every stage of the child’s growth, we have age-appropriate, relevant teaching and activities.
Prayer, Protocol & Outreach
This ministry exists to mobilize, equip, and challenge church members to be involved in missions and evangelism. The ministry’s focus areas include prisons, students, community outreach, hospitals, and church plants. All our ministry events and programs must be anchored in the prayer which this ministry also coordinates for the entire church.
Media, Production & Technical
The Media Production & Technical support at ICC Imara facilitates the sharing of the Gospel in our visually driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as a worship and outreach tool. This ministry provides the technical support required for our worship services and records various events, teachings, and sermons, which are made available on our social media platforms and web site.
Security & Safety
Security and Safety department exists to ensure we have a safe and convenient worship environment. The department facilitates security and safetsy within the facility premises and our environs. Under this department, we coordinate and liaise with the Local Authority, including the Police, Emergency responders, Health sector and Private Security services providers.
We coordinate First Aid services, Fire safety, Occupational health and Evacuations in case of an incident.
We also control trac and facilitate orderliness within our parking lots.
Youth
iFrontrunnerz is our ministry for young people between the ages of 18 - 24 years. We have contextualized ministry to this age group as we aim to remain relevant to the diverse needs of this age group. We aim at a youthful church in spirit, generous at heart, faith-lled in confession, loving in nature and inclusive in expression.
Our teens ministry at ICC Imara is dedicated to transforming lives of teens in our city and to raising a generation of world changers. The teens church is a community of young people aged 13-18 years old. It is a place where young people experience God and authentic community through worship,
Biblical teachings, and fun activities.
Worship & Creative Arts
The Worship & Creative Arts Ministry at ICC Imara reaches the congregation and our community through music, dance, acting and other forms of art. This ministry provides worship for our various services (online and in-person) and events across the church.
Leadership, Training & Discipleship
Our Leadership Training and Discipleship (LTD) ministry exists to equip the church for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. This is achieved firstly through discipleship processes (Connect, Challenge & Change) that help new and growing believers become rooted and established in Christ in their personal life as well as in their work of ministry. Secondly, through our marketplace ministry, we raise, train, equip and send out church members as influential leaders in all their respective spheres.
