ICC Imara gathered for a truly unforgettable event this past Saturday—the Impacting Generations Summit 2025! Held for the first time in our new sanctuary, this summit was more than just a gathering; it was a moment to reflect, celebrate, and look ahead with great anticipation for what God has in store for us.
Celebrating 2024: God’s Faithfulness in Action
As a church, we took time to give thanks for all that the Lord has done in the past year. 2024 was a year of growth, transformation, and impactful ministry. Through various outreach programs, worship experiences, and church initiatives, we witnessed God’s hand at work, guiding us to this very moment.
From strengthening our ministries to expanding our reach, we celebrated the milestones, breakthroughs, and testimonies that have shaped our journey. Standing in our new church home, we were reminded that every step of faith we take is part of God’s bigger plan.
Vision 2025: Growing Together as One Church
The highlight of the summit was hearing from our Senior Pastor, who shared the vision for 2025—a year dedicated to “Growing Together: Building a Strong, Healthy, and United Church.”
This vision calls us to:
Grow Spiritually – Deepen our relationship with God through prayer, discipleship, and the Word.
Grow in Fellowship – Strengthen our bonds as a church family, walking together in love and unity.
Grow in Service – Use our gifts and talents to serve both within the church and in our communities.
Grow in Outreach – Expand our impact by reaching out to those in need and sharing the love of Christ.

After months of prayer, dedication, and unwavering faith, ICC Imara has finally moved into our new sanctuary! This marks a significant milestone in our journey as a church, and we give all the glory to God for making it possible.
For years, we worshipped under a tent, trusting that in His perfect time, He would provide a permanent home for us. That time has come! Though the building is not yet fully complete, we are overjoyed to gather in this new space—a place where lives will be transformed, hearts will be renewed, and God’s name will be glorified.
On February 9, 2025, we held our first worship services in the new sanctuary at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. It was a beautiful time of celebration and thanksgiving. Seeing our congregation worship together in this space was a powerful reminder that the church is not just about a building—it’s about the people and the presence of God among us.
This move would not have been possible without the prayers, generosity, and commitment of our church family. We are excited for what God has in store for us in this new season, and we invite you to continue walking this journey with us.

The sunday of 24th Nov 2024, we had an awesome time of praise and worship. It was also a special service as we had 43 people being commissioned to be members of ICC Imara and this is achieved by someone attending the connect class that is under the discipleship ministry. We also saw 63 people getting baptized and we were blessed to be witnesses to their bold and public statement that they have been baptized. For more pics on this event, kindly click here
On Sunday 6th Oct 2024, we were launching a new sermon series titled “Intimacy with God.” Additionally, we hosted a two-day event featuring workshops on Saturday 5th Oct and an expo on Sunday 6th Oct It was a day filled with learning and networking. We are truly grateful to the speakers and exhibitors who participated in the second edition of this year’s 2nd edition of ICC Imara Expo and Workshops.

We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support and collaboration with Lakewood Church as we celebrated the official launch of The Champions Club. June 30th, 2024, will forever be remembered as a day of celebration. We came together to praise and worship, marking 7 years of autonomy. We are deeply thankful to our ICC Imara members and esteemed guests for their prayers and support. A heartfelt thank you to our worship team and to our friends of the ICC Imara worship team, particularly Kestin Mbogo, James Kahero of Sounds of worship, and Gwamaka Mwakalinga for gracing our 7-year celebration. Your presence was truly a blessing.

The ICC Imara Bridge program took the bridgers who completed the course on a mission to Rwanda. They went there to spread the word and also apply that which they had been learning during the 6 months program.
Bridge is a program that ICC Imara runs for ex-highschoolers and the program aims to equip them with spiritual knowledge, being Christian stewards when they go to campus, and entrepreneurship
We truly saw God’s work in the mission because they were able to visit 13 schools
In partnership with AEE RWANDA, AEE KENYA (FIRE FOX), ONE HOPE, WE GO TO THEM we were able to reach 30513 people and 5383 Souls came to know God in Rwanda

On June 9 which was on a Sunday, we had the bridgers of the year 2024 graduate. there had previously gone through the program that lasted for 6 months.
They are now equipped spiritually and physically with skills that can enable them thrive in the university and also in the market place.

The month of May concluded with an inspiring overflow worship experience. It was a beautiful time of worshipping and praising our God as we concluded the sermon series, which focused on walking in the goodness of God.

On Saturday, the dynamic collaboration between the leadership ministry, iMen, iLadies, and Dymystify ministries brought to life an impactful leadership event themed “Equipped for Impact.” This comprehensive 5-in-1 meeting featured concurrent workshops delving into essential topics including CV revamping, finance and investment, savings, and curating the customer experience. On Sunday, we experienced a truly remarkable and heartwarming Mother’s Day celebration. The entire worship team was comprised of mothers, creating a special atmosphere during our time of praise and worship. The message we received was deeply moving as we delved into the concept of walking in the goodness of God, drawing inspiration from Psalm 23. Have you been touched by the message? April has been a blessed month for us. We were able to commission new members, baptize people, and host wonderful guest speakers as we concluded this month’s sermon series titled ‘Intimacy with God.’ We saw many people give their lives to Christ. Additionally, we had a chance to pray and visit our iBelong building, where people were able to pray and see the progress made so far, thanks to the Lord. Sunday, April 21st, 2024, we had a special service at ICC Imara. The Senior Pastor of ICC Nairobi visited us and shared the Word with us, which was a great blessing. Additionally, we had a commissioning ceremony where we welcomed 120 new members to ICC Imara. We also had a baptism ceremony where 29 people were baptized. It was a wonderful day filled with spiritual growth and celebration.Sunday 21, April 2024 was a special service for us as we have the Senior Pastor of ICC Nairobi visiting us and sharing the word with us. We were blessed to have you. We also had commissioning where we commissioned 120 people to be members of ICC imara. We also had baptism where we withnessed 29 people getting baptised.

We organized a four-day Kids’ Vacation Bible School during the March school holidays of 2024, from the 16th to the 19th of March. The children had a great time participating in various activities such as art and craft, games, storytelling, and Bible trivia.

It’s May already and we’ve started a new sermon series called “Walking in the Goodness of God”. We had a wonderful time of worship and shared the holy communion. We also began the process of giving every Sunday towards the “ibelong” building project, which will conclude on 30th June 2024 with a thanksgiving service at the new sanctuary. We’re grateful to God for his goodness and we give him all the praise.

Some time ago, we had Pastor Craig Johnson from Lakewood Church visited us, and he touched our lives by showing us how he transforms the lives of people who are abled differently. As a result, we decided to create a sensory room for these children so that they can receive the word of God. We are truly grateful for Pastor Craig Johnson’s inspiring leadership and support on this journey. Thank you for the partnership we have created. God bless you.
